University of Calgary Speech and Debate Society (UCSDS)
- Helped administer the club as Vice-President and General Director, April 2002 - April 2004
- Adjudicated at the University of Calgary High School Tournament, Jan. 2003
- Regularly participated in the UCSDS Speaker's Corner, Sept. 2002 - April 2003
- Won the University of Calgary's "International Jeopardy" with the UCSDS team, Feb. 2003

Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate (CUSID)
- Drafted a standardized judging ballot at the request of CUSID West that it adopted with modifications, Feb. 2002 - Feb. 2003
Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association (SEDA), elementary and high school debate
- Judged, and briefed other judges, at numerous SEDA tournaments, ongoing since Sept. 1999
- Provided parliamentary briefing and served as Speaker, Clerk, and/or Caucus Advisor at several Saskatchewan Historical Model Legislatures, ongoing since Sept. 1999
- Taught and facilitated several times at the Luther Workshop and once at Camp Raynor, ongoing since Sept. 1999
- Wrote a standardized judges' briefing manual for SEDA, June 2001 - May 2002
- Served as South Alumni Representative on the Board of Directors, Sept. 1999 - March 2002
E. C. Leslie Provincial Debate Tournament, provincial high school debate championships
- Successfully bid to host this event on the University of Regina campus in 2001 (the first time that it was ever hosted by an institution other than a high school)
- As Convener, led a group of university students in organizing this Tournament, involving more than two hundred participants, Dec. 2000 - March 2001
- As Chief Adjudicator, briefed and oversaw sixty volunteer judges, Dec. 2000 - March 2001
University of Regina Debate Society (URDS)
- As President, organized and chaired weekly meetings, co-ordinated and oversaw the work of other executive members, represented the URDS in CUSID, orchestrated the URDS's fund-raising campaigns, garnered extensive media coverage for the URDS, and ratified it as a club through the University of Regina Students Union, Sept. 2000 - April 2002
- As SEDA Rep., maintained links between SEDA and the URDS, Sept. 1999 - April 2002
- Tournament Director, Shumiatcher Debate Tournament and Model Parliament, Jan. 2002
- As Vice-President (External Affairs), orchestrated the URDS's fund-raising campaign and maintained links between it and other university debate clubs, March - Sept. 2000
