Federal NDP Candidate in Wascana
- Won the contested NDP nomination in Wascana, Feb. 2004
- Assembled a group of young people to run my campaign, Jan.—May 2004
- Performed my own communications work, garnering extensive local media coverage and coverage in The Ottawa Citizen, The Globe & Mail, and CTV Newsnet, Feb.—June 2004
- Campaigned door-to-door and worked as candidate full-time, May—June 2004
- Erected more lawn signs in Wascana than any other party's campaign, May—June 2004
- Was soundly defeated by the Liberal incumbent, Ralph Goodale, June 2004
- By running a visible campaign, helped tie Goodale down in his own riding, June 2004

- As Past-President, provided advice and guidance to the SYND Executive and served on the Saskatchewan NDP's Youth-Party Liaison Committee, Nov. 2001—Sept. 2002
- As President, chaired the SYND's meetings, led its Executive, and served on all its committees, Sept. 2000—Nov. 2001
- Established an archives to help preserve the SYND's history, Aug. 2001
