I am completing a Master of Arts in History through the University of Calgary. My thesis, "The Nazi Submarine Blockade: A Near Victory of Economic Warfare?," evaluates the material effectiveness of Germany's submarine campaign against the Allies in World War II. Specifically, it weighs the costs imposed on the Allies by this campaign against those borne by Germany in carrying it out.
Thesis Outline:
- Chapter I: Introduction
- Chapter II: Loss of Allied War Production
- Chapter III: Absorption of Allied War Production
- Chapter IV: Disruption of Allied Military Campaigns
- Chapter V: Expenditure of German Resources
